Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) are a part of CBSE schools as they help students develop a 360-degree approach to learning. The co-curricular activities allow the children to participate in activities not part of the curriculum but supplement to the classroom activities.

At VAGDEVI VILAS SCHOOL, NELAMANGALA various activities and competitions are planned for each month, where the students get a chance to explore their hidden talents.

Starting from the month of June various activities related to WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY was celebrated across the levels ( I – X )  for encouraging students’ awareness and action to protect our environment. This year focuses on LAND RESTORATION, DESERTIFICATION AND DROUGHT RESILIENCE.

Every month the activities were planned as per the theme or topic and was executed in the school campus.

Activities like poster making, slogan writing, thumb printing, rally, drawing and colouring, pebble art, origami art, essay writing, hand writing competition, best out of waste, spray painting, vegetable carving, pen holder, poetry writing, debate, crown making(seed collage), matka painting, extempore and so on was conducted during the CCA period.

Co-curricular activities help students to develop problem solving ,reasoning,critical thinking. Co-curricular activities offer them an opportunity of thinking unusually and getting the innovative ideas of their own.It helps to build confidence and self esteem.
