“CELEBRATE THIS GREAT DAY WITH GREAT PRIDE IN MIND”
On the 1st of November, Vagdevi Vilas School Nelamangala proudly celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava, marking the formation of the state of Karnataka. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National and Karnataka flags by the Chief guest Dr. Manjula Devi, accompanied by the Principal, Vice-principal and co-ordinator.
A vibrant line-up of cultural activities followed the flag ceremony, showcasing the beauty of Kannada language and culture.
Students performed traditional tiger dance, which brought out the spirit of Kannada folklore. The event also featured colourful fancy dress activity, where students portrayed famous personalities from Karnataka, including poets, freedom fighters, and folk legends. In addition, the school choir performed popular Kannada songs.
The program concluded with an inspiring speech by the principal and Chief guest, who encouraged students to take pride in their heritage and to contribute positively to the state and society.
